# Foxwoods vs Avelo

The clearest difference is rating: Avelo at 4.4 against Foxwoods's 3.7. Avelo also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 39) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Avelo holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Avelo has 10K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Foxwoods's written reviews are positive against 11% of Avelo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Foxwoods ships an update every 6 weeks, Avelo every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
