# vc.ru vs Дождь

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Дождь at none against vc.ru's 5. Дождь also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 35%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. vc.ru sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.29 per month. Дождь asks for nothing beyond the download.

Дождь holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Дождь has 2.2K ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two.
