# HUAWEI Phone Clone vs Smart Switch

The clearest difference is rating: Smart Switch at 4.6 against HUAWEI Phone Clone's 3.2. Smart Switch also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (915 vs 137). HUAWEI Phone Clone's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Smart Switch holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Switch has 915 ratings behind it against 137, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of HUAWEI Phone Clone's written reviews are positive against 27% of Smart Switch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HUAWEI Phone Clone ships an update every 3 months, Smart Switch every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
