# N1 info vs Index.me

The clearest difference is rating: N1 info at 3.3 against Index.me's 2.6. N1 info also leads on ratings volume (269 vs 5). Index.me's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

N1 info holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: N1 info has 269 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of N1 info's written reviews are positive against 25% of Index.me's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

N1 info ships an update every 5 weeks, Index.me every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
