# Nextplus vs Psycd

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Psycd at 100% against Nextplus's 44%. Psycd also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Nextplus's advantage is ratings volume (89K vs 2) and chart position (#122 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nextplus sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Psycd asks for nothing beyond the download.

Psycd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nextplus has 89K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Nextplus's written reviews are positive against 100% of Psycd's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
