# Hindsight vs Rotate

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rotate at none against Hindsight's 6. Rotate also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 72%) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Hindsight's advantage is ratings volume (395 vs 22) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hindsight sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Rotate asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rotate holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hindsight has 395 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Hindsight's written reviews are positive against 100% of Rotate's.

Hindsight ships an update weekly, Rotate every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
