# Off Book! vs LINE

The clearest difference is rating: LINE at 5.0 against Off Book!'s 4.1. LINE also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 78%). Off Book!'s advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Off Book! sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and LINE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LINE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Off Book! has 38 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Off Book!'s written reviews are positive against 100% of LINE's.

Off Book! ships an update monthly, LINE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
