# Urdu Diary vs Knit It

The clearest difference is update cadence: Knit It at every 2 weeks against Urdu Diary's every 5 months. Urdu Diary's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 14.0.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Urdu Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Knit It sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Urdu Diary ships an update every 5 months, Knit It every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
