# Everpix vs Write on Screen

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Everpix at 79% against Write on Screen's 0%. Everpix also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (33K vs 1). Write on Screen's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Everpix sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Write on Screen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Write on Screen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Everpix has 33K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Everpix's written reviews are positive against 0% of Write on Screen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Everpix ships an update every 2 months, Write on Screen every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
