# SPConnect vs Fax It

The clearest difference is rating: Fax It at 4.5 against SPConnect's 2.5. Fax It also leads on ratings volume (108 vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). SPConnect's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (27% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fax It sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. SPConnect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fax It holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fax It has 108 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of SPConnect's written reviews are positive against 0% of Fax It's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SPConnect ships an update every 6 weeks, Fax It every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
