Say "remind me tomorrow at 4 PM to call the pharmacy" and the reminder is set for you, at the time you said. No calendar, no typing, no second app. WHAT IT DOES • Voice memo to text in seconds, in 59 languages, including Standard Arabic and 16 Arabic dialects • A title, a short AI summary and your to-dos, written for you • Reminders set from the dates and times you say out loud • Speaker labels for lectures and meetings: see who said what, and tap a label to rename it • Every note filed into a category on its own • Import audio and video files (MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV and more) and turn lectures, interviews and meetings into text • Edit and highlight transcripts, add checklists and photos, search every note • Share a note as text, as audio or as a link • A Live Activity while you record, and a home screen widget with your streak, latest reminder and open to-dos YOUR NOTES STAY ON YOUR PHONE There is no account to create. Your audio is sent to our servers only to be transcribed, and the finished note is stored on your device, not in the cloud. You can record without internet; the transcript arrives once you're back online. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Braindump at 4.5 against Bluedot Point's 4.0. Braindump also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (46 vs 4). Bluedot Point's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Braindump holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Braindump has 46 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Bluedot Point's written reviews are positive against 33% of Braindump's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Bluedot Point ships an update every 3 months, Braindump every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
