# GizmoHub vs Scouting

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GizmoHub at 66% against Scouting's 13%. GizmoHub also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (15K vs 930). Scouting's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GizmoHub holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GizmoHub has 15K ratings behind it against 930, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of GizmoHub's written reviews are positive against 13% of Scouting's.

GizmoHub ships an update every 6 weeks, Scouting fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
