# iPostal1 vs POD Manager

The clearest difference is monetization model: POD Manager at free against iPostal1's subscription. iPostal1's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 5). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.3 for iPostal1 against 3.4 for POD Manager. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPostal1 has 1.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 17% of iPostal1's written reviews are positive against 23% of POD Manager's.

iPostal1 ships an update every 3 weeks, POD Manager every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
