# iPostal1 vs YOUS

The clearest difference is monetization model: YOUS at free against iPostal1's subscription. YOUS also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). iPostal1's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 6) and rating (3.3 vs 3.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iPostal1 holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPostal1 has 1.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of iPostal1's written reviews are positive against 0% of YOUS's.

iPostal1 ships an update every 3 weeks, YOUS every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
