# iPostal1 vs UseOre

The clearest difference is monetization model: UseOre at free against iPostal1's subscription. UseOre also leads on rating (3.7 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). iPostal1's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UseOre holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPostal1 has 1.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iPostal1 ships an update every 3 weeks, UseOre every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
