# Crime Fighter vs Sherlock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sherlock at every 3 days against Crime Fighter's every 9 months. Sherlock also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crime Fighter sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Sherlock sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crime Fighter ships an update every 9 months, Sherlock every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
