# TapToShare vs Mithka

The clearest difference is rating: Mithka at 5.0 against TapToShare's 1.9. Mithka also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). TapToShare's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 4) and iOS requirement (8.3 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mithka holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of TapToShare's written reviews are positive against 50% of Mithka's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TapToShare ships an update every 3 weeks, Mithka every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
