# FancyHome Wi vs Diode Dynamics

The clearest difference is rating: Diode Dynamics at 2.9 against FancyHome Wi's 2.0. Diode Dynamics also leads on ratings volume (59 vs 1). FancyHome Wi's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 34 months) and review sentiment (50% vs 26%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Diode Dynamics holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diode Dynamics has 59 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of FancyHome Wi's written reviews are positive against 26% of Diode Dynamics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FancyHome Wi ships an update every 11 days, Diode Dynamics every 34 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
