# Course Hero vs Math Solver Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Math Solver Pro at daily against Course Hero's fortnightly. Math Solver Pro also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Course Hero's advantage is ratings volume (65K vs 10) and chart position (#92 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Course Hero sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Math Solver Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math Solver Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Course Hero has 65K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Course Hero ships an update fortnightly, Math Solver Pro daily. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
