# Course Hero vs Ai Math Solver

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ai Math Solver at 100% against Course Hero's 28%. Course Hero's advantage is ratings volume (65K vs 13) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Course Hero sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Ai Math Solver sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Course Hero holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Course Hero has 65K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Course Hero's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ai Math Solver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Course Hero ships an update fortnightly, Ai Math Solver monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
