# vx Field vs GE RFS

The clearest difference is rating: GE RFS at 1.5 against vx Field's 1.0. GE RFS also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (34 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GE RFS holds the better App Store score, 1.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GE RFS has 34 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of vx Field's written reviews are positive against 0% of GE RFS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

vx Field ships an update every 6 weeks, GE RFS every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
