# Ncell vs Nepali Keyboard

Ncell and Nepali Keyboard both sit at 3.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 50% of Nepali Keyboard's written reviews are positive against 29% of Ncell's. Nepali Keyboard also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.5). Ncell's advantage is ratings volume (190 vs 18). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ncell holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ncell has 190 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Ncell's written reviews are positive against 50% of Nepali Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ncell ships an update every 6 weeks, Nepali Keyboard monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
