# Tuta Mail vs Temp Mail

The clearest difference is ads: Tuta Mail at none against Temp Mail's shown. Tuta Mail also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 558). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tuta Mail sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Temp Mail sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tuta Mail holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tuta Mail has 3.8K ratings behind it against 558, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Tuta Mail's written reviews are positive against 67% of Temp Mail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
