# Cambridge Connect vs Hegel Control

Cambridge Connect and Hegel Control both sit at 2.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 50% of Hegel Control's written reviews are positive against 18% of Cambridge Connect's. Cambridge Connect's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (66 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cambridge Connect holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cambridge Connect has 66 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Cambridge Connect's written reviews are positive against 50% of Hegel Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cambridge Connect ships an update every 3 months, Hegel Control every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
