# CloudSync vs 1Password

The clearest difference is rating: 1Password at 4.7 against CloudSync's 1.0. 1Password also leads on ratings volume (42K vs 1) and chart position (#39 vs unranked). CloudSync's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 1Password sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. CloudSync asks for nothing beyond the download.

1Password holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 1Password has 42K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
