Work out your mortgage payment in a few taps — and actually understand what sits behind that number. Enter the amount, the start date, the interest rate and the term: the monthly payment updates instantly, together with the total repaid and the total interest. A bar shows at a glance how much of the total is principal and how much is interest. AMORTIZATION PLAN The payment-by-payment detail, with the due date of every instalment, the principal portion, the interest portion and the remaining balance. Export the full schedule as a PDF, ready to print or send, or as CSV to work on it in Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets. SCENARIOS Move the rate and term sliders and compare eight different terms, from 5 to 40 years. The chart shows how the payment falls as you stretch the mortgage and, at the same time, how much the total interest grows: the fundamental trade-off of any loan, at a glance. SWISS MORTGAGE A second calculation mode, for buying a home in Switzerland. Enter the property value, your own funds (savings, 2nd pillar, pillar 3a), income and rate: the app splits the financing into 1st and 2nd mortgage, works out the actual cost and the affordability (Tragbarkeit) at the imputed rate of 5%, and tells you the minimum income required. It also accounts for purchase costs (notary, land registry), which are paid from your own funds. The plan shows the amortisation of the 2nd mortgage, direct or indirect, by year or by quarter. In the scenarios you change value, rate and income and see how mortgage, cost and affordability move. The calculation is indicative: each bank applies its own criteria. The standard mortgage uses the French amortization method with a constant instalment, the one used by almost every mortgage. Everything is computed on your device, offline included. No account, no sign-up. The app collects anonymous usage statistics to learn which features are actually used; advertising follows the consent choices you make. The app is a calculation and simulation tool: for any real commitment always refer to the documents provided by your lender. The app is free and supported by advertising. If you would rather do without it, remove it from the App info tab, with a yearly subscription or a one-time purchase that lasts forever. If you bought the old paid version, removing it is free. The yearly subscription renews automatically at the same price until you cancel it, at least 24 hours before it ends, in your Apple Account settings. The forever purchase is paid only once.
