# LiquidText vs CalcDraw

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CalcDraw at none against LiquidText's 13. CalcDraw also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). LiquidText's advantage is ratings volume (6.4K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LiquidText sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per month. CalcDraw asks for nothing beyond the download.

CalcDraw holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiquidText has 6.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LiquidText ships an update every 2 weeks, CalcDraw every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
