# Sling vs Eats Central

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Sling at 27K against Eats Central's 1. Sling also leads on chart position (#71 vs unranked). Eats Central's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eats Central holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sling has 27K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sling ships an update every 5 weeks, Eats Central every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
