# ColorSwitch! vs Wordfully

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ColorSwitch! at none against Wordfully's 2. ColorSwitch! also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 61%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). Wordfully's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wordfully sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. ColorSwitch! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wordfully holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4K and 11K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of ColorSwitch!'s written reviews are positive against 61% of Wordfully's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ColorSwitch! ships an update every 2 months, Wordfully fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
