# ColorSwitch! vs Block Blast for Watch

The clearest difference is price: ColorSwitch! at Free against Block Blast for Watch's $0.99. ColorSwitch! also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (4K vs 3). Block Blast for Watch's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On review sentiment, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ColorSwitch! is free to download; Block Blast for Watch costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ColorSwitch! holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ColorSwitch! has 4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of ColorSwitch!'s written reviews are positive against 75% of Block Blast for Watch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ColorSwitch! ships an update every 2 months, Block Blast for Watch weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
