# Silhouette vs Fx Video Stencil

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Silhouette at 48% against Fx Video Stencil's 0%. Silhouette also leads on ratings volume (21 vs 1). Fx Video Stencil's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Silhouette sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fx Video Stencil sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fx Video Stencil holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Silhouette has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Silhouette's written reviews are positive against 0% of Fx Video Stencil's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
