# Staying Together vs Kitchen Together 2

The clearest difference is ads: Staying Together at none against Kitchen Together 2's shown. Staying Together also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). Kitchen Together 2's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Staying Together sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Kitchen Together 2 sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kitchen Together 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kitchen Together 2 has 56 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Staying Together's written reviews are positive against 59% of Kitchen Together 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Staying Together ships an update every 2 months, Kitchen Together 2 weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
