# MyScorecard vs FGT Golf Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: MyScorecard at 4.6 against FGT Golf Tracker's 3.3. MyScorecard also leads on ratings volume (6.7K vs 9) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 16.0.0). FGT Golf Tracker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (50% vs 31%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyScorecard sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. FGT Golf Tracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

MyScorecard holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyScorecard has 6.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of MyScorecard's written reviews are positive against 50% of FGT Golf Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyScorecard ships an update every 2 months, FGT Golf Tracker every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
