# MyScorecard vs Golf Statistics

The clearest difference is ads: MyScorecard at none against Golf Statistics's shown. MyScorecard also leads on ratings volume (6.7K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 18.0). Golf Statistics's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyScorecard sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Golf Statistics sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf Statistics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyScorecard has 6.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyScorecard ships an update every 2 months, Golf Statistics every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
