# MyScorecard vs Formula by PRV8

The clearest difference is monetization model: MyScorecard at free with in-app purchases against Formula by PRV8's subscription. MyScorecard also leads on ratings volume (6.7K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 15.1). Formula by PRV8's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyScorecard sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Formula by PRV8 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Formula by PRV8 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyScorecard has 6.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyScorecard ships an update every 2 months, Formula by PRV8 every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
