# 秀动 vs MuYu

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MuYu at 95% against 秀动's 17%. MuYu also leads on device support (7 vs 2). 秀动's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and rating (4.8 vs 4.2). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

秀动 is free to download; MuYu costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

秀动 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 秀动 has 979 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of 秀动's written reviews are positive against 95% of MuYu's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

秀动 ships an update every 3 weeks, MuYu fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
