# HiNative vs GloNote

The clearest difference is ratings volume: HiNative at 9.1K against GloNote's 1. GloNote's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HiNative sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and GloNote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GloNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HiNative has 9.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HiNative ships an update fortnightly, GloNote every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
