# Musicnotes vs 来音制谱

Musicnotes and 来音制谱 both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of 来音制谱's written reviews are positive against 55% of Musicnotes's. 来音制谱 also leads on ads (none vs shown). Musicnotes's advantage is ratings volume (43K vs 193) and chart position (#155 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Musicnotes sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year and 来音制谱 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Musicnotes against 4.8 for 来音制谱. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Musicnotes has 43K ratings behind it against 193, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 55% of Musicnotes's written reviews are positive against 94% of 来音制谱's.

Musicnotes ships an update fortnightly, 来音制谱 weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
