# Morphos vs Spot 5 Differences

The clearest difference is rating: Spot 5 Differences at 4.7 against Morphos's 3.8. Spot 5 Differences also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (52K vs 16). Morphos's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Morphos sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Spot 5 Differences sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spot 5 Differences holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spot 5 Differences has 52K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Morphos's written reviews are positive against 77% of Spot 5 Differences's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Morphos ships an update every 10 months, Spot 5 Differences every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
