# Morphos vs Brain Test

The clearest difference is rating: Brain Test at 4.7 against Morphos's 3.8. Brain Test also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (6.5K vs 16). Morphos's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 42%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Morphos sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Brain Test sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain Test holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brain Test has 6.5K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Morphos's written reviews are positive against 42% of Brain Test's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Morphos ships an update every 10 months, Brain Test monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
