# Самоучитель английского языка vs Tense

The clearest difference is rating: Самоучитель английского языка at 5.0 against Tense's 4.2. Tense's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (64% vs 44%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Самоучитель английского языка sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Tense sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Самоучитель английского языка holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tense has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Самоучитель английского языка's written reviews are positive against 64% of Tense's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Самоучитель английского языка ships an update every 4 months, Tense every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
