# Foscam vs Myannke

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Foscam at none against Myannke's 15. Foscam also leads on rating (2.3 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (709 vs 39). Myannke's advantage is review sentiment (32% vs 17%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Myannke sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Foscam asks for nothing beyond the download.

Foscam holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Foscam has 709 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Foscam's written reviews are positive against 32% of Myannke's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Foscam ships an update every 3 weeks, Myannke monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
