# Nicholson's Pubs vs Modern Milkman

The clearest difference is rating: Modern Milkman at 4.6 against Nicholson's Pubs's 3.6. Modern Milkman also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (554 vs 22). Nicholson's Pubs's advantage is review sentiment (35% vs 23%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Modern Milkman holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Modern Milkman has 554 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Nicholson's Pubs's written reviews are positive against 23% of Modern Milkman's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
