# SPPD Tips vs Perci

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SPPD Tips at none against Perci's 6. Perci's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 34 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perci sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. SPPD Tips asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SPPD Tips against 4.9 for Perci. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perci has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SPPD Tips ships an update every 34 months, Perci fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
