# Mobyx vs Talkcoms

The clearest difference is rating: Talkcoms at 4.4 against Mobyx's 3.7. Talkcoms also leads on ratings volume (708 vs 19). Mobyx's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 27 months) and review sentiment (73% vs 63%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Talkcoms holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talkcoms has 708 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Mobyx's written reviews are positive against 63% of Talkcoms's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mobyx ships an update every 2 months, Talkcoms every 27 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
