# Mobyx vs AO

The clearest difference is rating: AO at 5.0 against Mobyx's 3.7. AO also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Mobyx's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 3) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobyx has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mobyx ships an update every 2 months, AO every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
