# ManTooth vs Appion Central

The clearest difference is rating: ManTooth at 3.4 against Appion Central's 2.8. ManTooth also leads on iOS requirement (8.2 vs 13.0). Appion Central's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 12 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ManTooth holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of ManTooth's written reviews are positive against 29% of Appion Central's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ManTooth ships an update every 12 months, Appion Central every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
