# Vocab Tool AI vs RemNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: RemNote at every 3 days against Vocab Tool AI's every 2 months. RemNote also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 18). Vocab Tool AI's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 74%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vocab Tool AI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and RemNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RemNote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RemNote has 1.7K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Vocab Tool AI's written reviews are positive against 74% of RemNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vocab Tool AI ships an update every 2 months, RemNote every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
