# Weather Clock Widget vs CuteWeather

The clearest difference is monetization model: Weather Clock Widget at free with in-app purchases against CuteWeather's subscription. Weather Clock Widget also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 71%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). CuteWeather's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weather Clock Widget sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and CuteWeather sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
