# Enterprise CarShare vs Stop Hopper

The clearest difference is monetization model: Stop Hopper at free against Enterprise CarShare's free with in-app purchases. Stop Hopper also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Enterprise CarShare's advantage is ratings volume (6.3K vs 70). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Enterprise CarShare against 4.8 for Stop Hopper. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Enterprise CarShare has 6.3K ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Enterprise CarShare ships an update every 6 weeks, Stop Hopper every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
